If you've worked in corporate, then you've probably had a tough boss. The kind of boss that gives long hours, expects too much of their employees and is just a general hard *** for no reason. Well, this employee had their hours cut because they decided to buy a motorcycle to get to and from work.
That's right, the boss thought because they could afford a motorcycle then they didn't really need the money. Hopefully, they took the comment's advice and moved on, because who would work for someone who doesn't want to pay them? -

That's what one trendy dentist's office did with their newly hired social media person, and like a tooth, things got sore pretty quickly. After pressing their new managers, the front desk denied having ever agreed on the salary, despite emails to the contrary. The dentist, as I'm sure he did during actual medical school, claimed ignorance. </p><p><br></p><p>Citing lofty gas and toll prices, the new employee decided to quit; having yet to see a dime. But while the battle for payment rages on, the employee remains in possession of the company phone with all of their work as a bargaining tool. And as one Redditor commented on the story, “Seems like a golden opportunity to drag them on social media.”</p><p><br></p><p>Spurred on by commenters, the employee sounds ready to make their move. One automotive supplier manager had other ideas and it cost her company 10k in labor. </p><p><br></p><p>Employing mostly student workers from a nearby work-study college program, the company had little to do with them while it went through a merger. Instead of cutting labor, the shop workers were often left with no tasks, while their equipment was transported to new locations. When work finally came in, one student was excited to get some hands-on experience, and efficiently completed her task before getting scolded by her manager to slow down and look busy, so as not to offend any higher-ups who happened to walk by. </p><p><br></p><p>So the student complied and took all of her remaining 2.5 months' worth of hours to complete her next task, hiding away in a back room to do it. By the end of the season, she had racked up 10 grand in wages to watch Netflix and listen to music. "I think [my manager] genuinely forgot I worked there," she said.
